David Hillcoat at West Ham
>> I have been training with a bunch of other lads with academy coaches outside of the academy, and the last 2 days the older lads, including myself, were invited into the academy itself to train with the under 18's who are one of the best teams in the country.
>> Yesterday we trained at the academy in the morning, and it was one of my best performances since last time I was over, as then we had a game against a local club who were quality.
>> We also went on the London eye which was good fun and are getting in some more sight seeing this afternoon. Talk soon when I get back for year 12 camp.
>> Cheers

April 17 Schools Table Tennis Cancelled
Due to problems that have been experienced with the resurfacing of the Table Tennis Centre floor, mainly due to the weather, we have been advised not to play on it for at least another ten days, as from today. Therefore, it will not be possible to conduct the last round of the Table tennis competition on that day. However, thankfully, the top two teams in both of the groups competing for the right to contest the finals have already been decided. These are: Kepnock 1, Shalom 1, St Luke's 1 and BCC 1.
As indicated previously, Finals Day will commence at 9.00 a.m. on Wednesday 24 April with a scheduled finishing time of 11.30 a.m. Both the semi-finals, final and play-off for third place will be played on two tables each. If you have any concerns about these arrangements, please get back to me.
Please offer my apologies to the players but as you will understand, this is something beyond our control.
If I don't see you on Finals Day, my thanks to you for your support during the season and I hope we catch up again for the Winter Season which hopefully will include a Junior (Year 8-10) competition as well as an AWD competition. More of that early in the term. Also, more info will be coming out soon about the annual South Queensland Schools Championships in Brisbane on Tuesday 21 May to which we plan to take a busload of teams from schools all around Bundy.
