SLAS Finals day ...BDSSS ...Summer Sports Letter for Thursday 2 April
Friday, 27 March 2015
Table Tennis Finals Day
Division One Semi-finals (9.15 a.m.) Shalom 3 v St Lukes; Shalom 2 v Kepnock
Division Two Semi-finals (9.15 a.m.) BCC v Kepnock 2; BSHS 2 v Kepnock 4
Winning teams in each division will play the Finals with the losing S/f teams playing for 3rd place. these matches will start as soon as possible after all the semi-finals have been completed. Hopefully this will be no later than 10.15 a.m.
Presentation of the Shield to the winning Division One team will take place after all the Finals and Play-off matches have been completed. Hopefully this will be about 11.15 a.m. and finish by 11.30 a.m.
PLEASE NOTE: All matches will be played on two tables (eg Shalom 3 v St Lukes on T 1 & 2, etc) and will only be to result (ie as soon as one team has five matches, a result has been achieved).
Please ensure your players know the above times and remind them that they MUST use the middle door to enter and leave the Centre, and pay at the canteen as soon as they arrive.
Only the Female toilets are available for both BOTH GENDERS – when in use, the door to the these toilets should be closed; when leaving, this door should be left open; please ensure this is explained to your players before the start of play
Thank you very much for your cooperation during this season which, as I told the players last Wednesday, has been one of the most successful we have ever had. Enjoy the matches on Thursday, good luck to your teams, have a great holiday and hope to see you back for more in the Winter season
Best regards

SLAS Rowing information 2015
St Luke's Anglican School welcomes all rowers, parents and supporters to the 2015 Head of River season, in particular, those new to rowing.THIS INFORMATION HAS BEEN PRODUCED TO PROVIDE ST LUKE'S SCHOOL ROWING TEAM MEMBERS WITH INFORMATION ABOUT THE CURRENT ROWING SEASON.Rowing is offered to students as a Summer Inter-School sport with the support of our School, the Bundaberg Rowing Club, and VOLUNTEER coaches .Our school is fortune to own a fleet of training and racing boats, and have access to club facilities (Burnett River and Bucca) throughout the school rowing season.Parents play a major role in the success of school rowing. I recognise and thank parents for their efforts in getting their child/ children to training and regattas, encouraging our team to do its best, and for their support of the sport in general. Without the support of parents it would not be possible to offer such a unique sport as rowing to students as it relies heavily on team commitment, personal discipline and hard work. With continued support at all levels it is hoped that school rowing will continue to be successful throughout and beyond 2015.Rowing is a sport that requires access to safe, reliable, and competitive equipment that must be regularly maintained and upgraded. The fees associated with BDSSS/ St Lukes are used to ensure the safety and comfort of all students when on the water. Additionally, fees cover the cost of maintenance of boats, tinnies and facilities, fuel, and Rowing Queensland registration/ insurance.
Club Membership, Fees and Medical Forms must be completed and returned to School. Rowers will not be permitted to go on the water or use boats/ facilities until these forms are returned.Lead up Regatta 1 - 3 MayLead up Regatta 2 - 17 MayHead of River - 14 June -In the the weeks before the regattas I will be requesting assistance from Parents and Supporters - Canteen, Boat Rigging, Boat Driving.Rowing suits - http://www.oarsome.com.au/omega - Order and pay online for racing suit.
