Dear Coaches and Parents
We have had questions regarding rowing training at Bucca, safety, boats etc and after discussions with the School Principal, Sports Director, Boat Committee, Head Coach and Coordinator,
the following decision has been made.
To our knowledge, no official clearance has yet been given to Bucca so rowers are rowing at their own risk. We feel at this stage, the St Luke's rowers that are going to Nationals should be the only ones training.
St Luke's boats that are being used by these rowers, have received permission from the Boat Committee to use the St Luke's boats as per our Boat Guidelines.
For any St Luke's students who wish to train for future school events, they can use the St Luke's Rowing boats for training as per the Boat Guidelines. They will also need to be paid up members of the Bundaberg Rowing Club.
