QISSN Update - Day 4

Today the girls played Marist College Emerald (our long time foes) in the quarter final match.  Team went out hard in the first quarter to have a good lead which they managed to hold for the rest of the match.  Final score was 32-28 in St Luke's favour. MVP McKenzie Mott.  This put them in the top 4 teams in Division 4.  The semi- final match against Mt Maria College Mitchelton started off with St Luke's down in the first quarter by 6 goals.  They went back out to level the scores in the second and third quarters.  The final quarter saw the scores see-saw with the centre pass.  Great work by defences Talea Loeskow and Sarah Marschke put us up in the final minute with the full time score 23-21.  MVP. Johannah Dallas.    The team will play off in the Grand Final Friday for first place in Division 4.  St Luke's previously won this division in 2007.
