Assisting on Water
Never done this before - don't worry as training will be provided for the above on water activities . A great way to get some water time, enjoy yourself and watch the regatta from the water.
Bring a 10mm and 11 mm spanner - a roll of electrical tape ( optional) and be ready to clip on riggers, adjust foot chocks and assist with carrying boats to/ from water
Regular Regatta attendees will know how busy the  pontoon can get pre and post racing.

Race Tower
Helping out in the tower with race finish and judging. There are positions for qualified and non qualified people. There will always be qualified people in the tower and this is a great opportunity to learn from and assist them in their duties.

2015 Queensland All Schools Cross Country Championship... parent info if interested.

Please find attached Entry details for the 2015 Queensland All Schools Cross Country Championship to be held at St Paul's School, Bald Hills on 9 May. This event will be run by Queensland Running in partnership with Future State Greats and is a great lead up to the district and regional cross country competitions.
Attached also, please find a "Parent Information Statement" which we are recommending schools provide, along with your own school documentation, to parents who submit an entry to the Queensland Running FSG All School Championship via a school this year.
The statement highlights key information from the entry form which we believe parents should be made aware of, in particular, information surrounding privacy issues in regards to media releases and also the late entry process.
We have provided the statement in editable MS Word format to enable schools to customise the document to suit the way you handle your entry process.
We also have a spreadsheet available which we will forward to you on request to 'anne@queenslandrunning.com.au' on which you may enter student names and email directly to Queensland Running.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me on 0418 11 33 77.
Kind Regards,
Anne Scott
