ROWING - INTER REGIONAL TRIALS

After some consultation with Mr Silcox, could you please confirm with all of your inter-regional nominees that trials will commence at 3pm this Sunday August 23. Rod is hoping that racing in all 4 age/gender groups will be done and dusted in around an hour. We are hopeful that this time will be suitable to everyone. Please advise Rod or me if a student has a legitimate reason why they can't attend the trials.

Mr Michael Parsons is the new SLAS Rowing Coordiantor for 2016 looking after school rowing students, parents and coaches, and leading the communication for all groups.

Update on Rebecca's  trip to Perth with  Queensland  Under  16 School Girls  Hockey Team  for the National Championships.

Beck was named Captain of the Qld under 16 Team

Queensland girls won Gold 

Beck was named  player of the Tournament

Beck made the Australian  under 16 team to tour South Africa in 2016.

Overall QLD  did  very well ---  gold girls,   gold boys---- under 16
