ROWING message from Mr Parsons
Hello Parents and Supporters,
This is just to touch base with you and check that everyone has the relevant information. It is more so for the new parents, who just like me are getting their heads around exactly what school rowing involves.
We are a little light on rowing coaches at this stage, but a huge thanks to those coaches who are taking on extra rowers and the new coaches Rob Scott and Dr Henry Thomas who are joining us this year. To help with the load I will be running some ergo and gym sessions on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for students who would like an extra training session/s during the week. It is important for students to tell me if they are going to attend so I can plan the sessions.
If you have already handed in relevant forms and payment, thank you. If you have any questions about forms or payment, please check in your rowing booklet or contact me directly. These need to be finalised before students can row.
Can we please encourage our rowers to look after our coaches and show our appreciation for the voluntary hours they put in. Our coaches are an extremely important and highly valued part of our rowing program.
If you have any questions or would like to have a chat about anything rowing related please get in contact. Email or Mobile (0418748017) are the best ways to get in touch.
Regards,
Michael Parsons
