Primary Rugby League school sport rule changes in 2016....age groups for RL competitions.

Dear all 10-12 yrs Rugby League teachers and parents at all schools

A couple of points to be aware of that may require your immediate attention.

1. AGE GROUPS IN COMPETITIONS

• As per what was discussed at QSS 10-12yrs RL Meeting in November 2015.
• Players are only permitted to play up ONE year in age.
• Players born in 2006 (10 yr olds) are NOT allowed to take the field in matches involving players born in 2004 (12 yr olds).
• Players born in 2007 (9 yr olds) are NOT allowed to take the field in matches involving players born in 2005 (11 yr olds)
• These rules apply to ALL competitions including NRL Development Cup as well as weekly Inter school Matches.
• Please communicate this information to the various District Convenors in your Region ASAP.

  This will affect your interschool teams, NRL Dev Cup comp and also the make up of your District rep teams for u12 and u11.
