QLD Table Tennis teams report from Mr Delpratt...including SLAS students

The Queensland Under 13 Girls (Rebecca Tran, Tahnee Green and Wynnum's Tamika Connolly) have won bronze in their team event at the Australian Junior Championships in Alice Springs, Rebecca winning the final match against South Australia to give her team a 5/4 result that ensured the medal. Congratulations girls.

The Under 15 Girls team with Leah Scott have a chance of third as long as they win this afternoon and other results go their way; the Unnder 15 Boys with Hayden Green, Leyton Ey and Sam Freeman came fifth after going down 5/4 to WA who came third; Briahna Connolly's Under 18 Girls can come anywhere from 4^th – 6^th in their event after an incredibly close competition in which the many matches produced 5/4 results; Brett Fourro's Under 18 Boys "B" team is likely to come 6^th or 7^th .

With the team events finished, the Singles events will be played with all Singles and Doubles finals to be played on Saturday, including Rebecca and Tahnee in the Under 13 Girls Doubles final !!
